I met Sean O Shea  in August  2006,when we both started teaching for the first time at Pilgrimage Yoga  every Monday night. A week later I became his student and soon at that moment in time my new friend and teacher became my biggest inspiration. We started to create a project together, the first of many. A yoga instructional Video. Three months later, on 28 Dec 2006 he died.  here are a couple of trailers from several hour of film footage that I edited for the  funeral celebrations two years ago.

For our mutual students, family and friends, we announce that we will be releasing more footage in Feb 2009.

We appreciate any suggestion or support to edit these beautiful video tapes .

Thank you,

He brought out the best in each of us. Practicing with him,  I was strongest in body and endurance than I had aver been. My creativity was at its best. as he started breathing with us, we easily flowed back into the simple present moment.  I learned to start practicing what I was preaching so well,  as some of us teach what we most need to learn. Some of us  are good at  using words and theories,  but putting the true yoga into practice is a whole different dimension.

While  similar in many ways,  in no way do I  claim to being like he was when teaching yoga.  He  showed me my limits were only in my mind. And everything that might or might not  have happened between us has no words.

Just before I met Sean I started to produce a yoga instructional video, for our start up company iPlay2Learn. Digital download media,  instructional videos. A new  concept at the time, and  with Sean in the video, I never doubted  it would succeed even if we did not yet have the experience of producing instructional videos.

As friends we exchanged ideas and created new ones, we did not have much time to discuss our histories. We did not have to justify our instincts. We both valued our privacy. We recognized in each other a true potential for a partnership that remained undefined. We trusted our intuition and we did not have time to evaluate, but just were sure that we could trust each other . There was no time to explore the connection.

My mentor  supported my video project, and agreed on  the importance of having legal release forms- so that I would be able and  responsible for our privacy, for protecting our images from being used in ways not intended.

Because  life often does not turn out as planned, the path changed, but the intention that he and I created is still alive.

And now with him missing, I will stand for both of us.

Therefore I have and always will do what he trusted me to do today - use my intuition and best judgment in the events of any unforeseen changes in our plans. For the family and friends who requested video copies, I made  some slight adjustments  and placed them on you tube as our server could not handle so many downloads by so many people at the same time.

I had no words back then, now it is time to publish the Best and let go of the rest.

May you find comfort and inspiration as you watch the art of awakening in others spiritual Aspiration

Optimists CREED
Promise Yourself
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble
