He brought out the best in each of us. Practicing with him,  I was strongest in body and endurance than I had ever been. My creativity was at its best. as he started breathing with us, we easily flowed back into the simple present moment.  And thus, I learned to start practicing what I was preaching so well, and started to put theory into practice. And taught me that my limits were only in my mind.

While similar in many ways, same age, creative ideals, similar background, (we were both half European, half Mexican) both rebels at choosing the yoga teaching path despite the college degrees and grad wishes of our strong mothers, and going on our own way in  exploring  spiritual philosophies, such as joining  the wonderful Sri chimoy group. But in the art of teaching yoga and in his  ethereal charisma of inspiring so may people to better themselves, I in no way claim to being like him. He was unique and I think most of his students will agree with me that there has never or will never be an instructor like him that could bring out so much in us, and that his class was an experience like no other..

Because  life often does not turn out as planned, the path changed, but the intention that he and I created is still alive.

And now with him missing, I will stand for both of us.

Therefore I have and always will do what he trusted me to do today - use my  best judgment in the events of any unforeseen events - to  respect, protect, and go head with these videos as was our  intention. To share with his students, family and friends. 

 I had no words back then, now it is time to publish the Best and let go of the rest.
